THINK IT THROUGHCurrent electricity
Same battery. New connection.
Two identical resistors use 60 W in series. Reconnect them in parallel across the same ideal battery.
The ideal battery keeps voltage constant. Equivalent resistance falls from 2R to R/2. Using P = V²/Req, total power becomes 4 × 60 = 240 W. That is 120 W in each resistor.Practise more like this, freeWatch it solved in under a minute: English · हिंदी

A clear idea. A better attempt. A little progress, every day.
A method you can repeat
From “I got it wrong” to “I know why.”
A score tells you where you are. What you do after the test helps you move forward.
01 / UNDERSTAND
Make the concept clear.
Follow a worked problem on JEE Physics Decoded. Pause before the solution and decide how you would approach it.
Read the worked explanation for each question. Your Mistake Notebook keeps the ones you got wrong until you fix them. Then retake the test to check what you can do independently.
Put the formulas to work with our free current-electricity practice pack. Check the conditions, show your reasoning, and return to the questions that challenged you.

7-day study kickstart
Doing matters more than planning. Attempt, review and retry with one concrete action each day. Record the work you complete and the next question you’ll tackle.
The app shows how much free time you have left today. Free minutes are part of our current offer; if they change, we’ll tell you in the app first.
For parents
Stay involved. Give them room to learn.
Students under 18 need a parent or guardian’s approval. A linked parent account lets you see tests taken, score trends, and a downloadable progress report.
The JEEPhysics app shows no ads. We don’t sell personal data or build advertising profiles. You can withdraw consent at any time from your parent dashboard.
Yes. Everyone gets at least 15 minutes of Premium features free each day, and the app shows how much time you have left. The sample question and downloads on this page don’t need an account. The free minutes are an offer, not a purchase: we may change or end them, and we’ll tell you in the app before we do (Terms of Service, Section 7).
Who is JEEPhysics for?
Students aged 15 and over in India preparing for JEE Main. Students under 18 need parent or guardian approval before their account opens. Parents can also create their own account.
Can I learn in Hindi?
Many JEE Physics Decoded video lessons come in both English and Hindi. The practice app and the downloadable worksheet are in English.
Do I need to install an app?
No. JEEPhysics works in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. On Android you can also install it from Google Play. You can print the PDF worksheet or work through it on screen.
How do I turn a good intention into daily practice?
Begin with a small action you can finish today. Our 7-day study kickstart gives you a daily action, a clear completion check, and a record of the work you actually do. Doing matters more than planning.
